Pockets
A great way to keep map, broachers and more.
This pocket has a cropped and uneven opening to it to add a decorative flair.
Tips for pockets:
For this type of pocket be sure you have a background page and a larger cropped page on top of it for your pocket. Using bottled glue versus a glue tabe or glue dots tends to work better. Always be sure the glue dries fully before placing anything in the pocket. |
How to:
Cut a slit in the paper you will be using for the pocket .(In this case it was the weaved section on top of the background page.) Mark the area where your largest item for the pocket will go on the back of the pocket crop. Remove the item and place glue on the back careful to stay about 1/4 of an inch from the marked section. Glue pocket to background page. Add trim to the top of the pocket Add other photos. |
A simpler pocket can be made with an over-crop section glueing three of the four edges on the background page. The same tips above will help with this style of pocket.
