The chosen theme: animals. The plan a WI animal safari. We started in Chicago with animals at the art institute. Then the field museum before we headed off to WI for 3 zoos, a water park, circus, horse show, and much more.
Here's the current page I'm working on. My niece was fascinated by the types of textures and materials animals could be made from so I tried to make the page reflect that. My bin full of ribbons finally drove me crazy. I spent the morning organizing them. Now I can find and use my favorite Embelishment with out the digging and searching. Here's my system.i broke down and bought a Silhouette
i am so excited. I started working on pieces for next year my nephews first annual auntie week. Ive been planning a Curious George theme and have had a hard time finding scrapbook items for the famous annual auntie week scrapbook. But now....Wow! I'm so excited I can make ,y own. Using my new Silhouette I started creating embellishment for his first book. It's so easy just find a figure pull it apart cut the pieces and put it back together. To add some texture to these pages I printed denim paper, cut it into pockets then stitched around the pocket to connect it to the minions overalls. The look gives me a little chuckle as I remember mom dressing my sister and me in matching overalls when we were younger.
I just finished the last two pages of my youngest niece's Annual Auntie Week scrapbook. (Record time) now it's time to clean the work space and reorganize the things I found a challenge to get to why scrapin.
The theme for Josie's 2015 Annual Auntie Week was planting so I had to make the table of contents match. I knew I wanted to do flowers so a began the book with some large flowers that outlined the pages on her scrapbook.
